The Vatika Mission

All children inherently love to learn. Learning for children is a discovery pf the self and a yearning to share that discovery with peers, teachers and parents. To help children become happy and responsible citizens of the world community, schools need to provide much more than mere syllabi and examination oriented education. The need of the hour is to develop a new attitude towards the child and to address the myriad learning requirements of the child. It is with this search in mind that the core team of Vatika has come together to establish a school that would understand and nurture children and the adults who provide for them. Through change in education we look towards the innite possibilities that can be created for the positive development of children and adults, be it through a discovery - of the self, of the life cycle of a honey bee, of the principles of a ying machine or of the speed and precision with which communication systems are established. For us, this search is the beginning of a journey of moving with the strengths of known educational principles tp the evolution of new practices of learning, nurturing and sharing. Our aim is to prepare students in such a manner as to make them globally acceptable in all walks of the life. We believe that the purpose of education is not just to teach books to the children rather to educate them in manner that enriches their life with the diet of good culture, smartness, knowledge and awareness. We envisage growth of children with a denite objective of achievement in life. The school organizes many activities throughout the year where qualities such as leadership and self discipline are inculcated and there is an emphasis on intellectual and emotional growth of students. The school corridors not only the cognitive development of its students but also the other aspects of their personality equally signicant to be developed and nurtured. WE believe that a natural spontaneous expression of creative feelings will facilitate a child’s social development and excel in formal education balancing and encouraging their creative interest. Facility like I.T. Lab, Library, Activity Center, Music Room etc. are the integral part of the system.
